Alycia Debnam Carey is an Australian actor, best known for her role in Fear the Walking Dead. Alycia Debnam-Carey was born and raised in Sydney and started her acting career when she was just eight years old. Martha's New Coat, a short film she starred in, was her debut role. In an episode of McLeod's Daughter, she got her TV debut. It was in The 100 that she had her first major role. The show was based on the book series with the same name. The character she played was Commander Lexa an imposing leader of 12 clans. Her popularity grew after she starred in Fear the Walking Dead - an upcoming horror show on TV. The series has received a positive review from critics. The show also won numerous nominations and awards. Jigsaw Girl, The Branch as well as other short films have had her in the show. Her first feature-length film was an integral part of the film that was based on found films, titled Into the Storm. The film did quite well commercially, even though the reviews were mostly negative.
